Police Officer Chuck Buffington
Community Action Team

Officer Chuck Buffington has been married to his wife, Jamie, for three years. They have a joint family of five adult children and four grandchildren. Officer Buffington has 25 years of service, including four years in patrol, five years in the Neighborhood Response Squad, and 13 years in the Special Investigations Unit (Narcotics), where he was a Narcotics Detector Dog Handler. For the last three and a half years, Buffington has been a member of the Foothills Community Action Team. He has been awarded the 2003 Glendale Officer of the Year, 2011 Arizona Narcotics Detection K9 Team of the Year, and 2019 Specialty Officer of the Year.

Parade Details

Hometown Christmas Parade will take place in downtown Glendale, AZ. Staging will be located at 51st Avenue south of Glendale Ave. The route proceeds west on Glendale to 58th Avenue where it turns south to the de-staging area.
