Parade Entry Day of Information

Thank you for participating in the 11th Annual Hometown Christmas Parade and thank you to those who attended the parade entry meeting.  We are excited to see your wonderful entries march down the parade route!

Parade day is almost here but it's important that everyone knows where to go on parade day so
if you could not attend the parade entry meeting, please be sure to click the red buttons to review the presentation and the instructions carefully before calling us with questions.

PARADE MEETING INFORMATION

PARADE ENTRY NUMBER ASSIGNMENTS:
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
 

There is NO PARKING or DROP OFF AT STAGING. 

PARADE VEHICLES: 
Only parade vehicles may enter the staging area.
 

WALKERS & RIDERS:
All walkers and riders need to park in one of the lots noted on the Parade Route Map above and take the shuttle. Note: the Glenn Ave Shuttle does picks up at 58th Ave & Glenn after the parade.  It does NOT go into the de-staging area.  


ARRIVAL TIMES: 
Staging area opens starting at 8:00 am for those who are decorating on site.  Shuttle trailers run from 7:30 am until the parade is over (no later than 1:30 pm)

ADA SHUTTLE:

Valley Metro is providing an ADA Shuttle on the Southern / Lamar Shuttle route only

If your Parade Entry is 1 – 50

Vehicles – No later than 9:30am

Riders / Walkers – No later than 10:00am

If your Parade Entry is 51 or higher

Vehicles – No later than 10:00am

Riders / Walkers – No later than 10:30am

Glendale's Hometown Christmas parade is an opportunity to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas by gathering together as a community of families, businesses, churches, organizations, including schools to encourage each other with a great parade experience. The parade not only shares the reason for the season but also facilitates a canned food drive supporting Hope for Hunger.
